Ronald Schutz, Brendan Johnson Named to Forbes Top 200 Lawyers in the United States
March 26, 2024
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Ronald Schutz and Brendan Johnson have been recognized by Forbes in its inaugural list of the Top 200 Lawyers in the United States.
Ronald Schutz is the immediate past chairman of the firm’s Executive Board and holds the distinguished title of Fellow at the American College of Trial Lawyers, the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America. Fellowship in this prestigious organization is extended through invitation only, with membership limited to just 1% of the total lawyer population. Schutz has achieved a nine-figure and multiple eight-figure jury verdicts and has secured trial victories against industry giants such as Apple, General Electric, Clear Channel, Sony, and Canon.
Brendan Johnson joined Robins Kaplan in 2015 after serving as South Dakota’s United States Attorney during the Obama Administration. He has developed a national trial practice focused on high-stakes litigation while maintaining his family roots in South Dakota. Johnson also chairs the firm’s National Business Litigation Group, a role in which he leads more than 100 attorneys across all seven offices, and is a member of the Robins Kaplan Executive Board.
Forbes’ method for selecting the Top 200 was based on a rigorous, multi-stage process of editorial research and evaluation. According to Forbes, the list identifies “the finest in the profession: lawyers with impressive track records in their specialties, those who have broken barriers to emerge as leaders in their fields, and attorneys most respected by peers and clients.”
“We are most proud of Ron and Brendan’s inclusion on the Forbes Top 200 list, which is richly deserved and a testament to their fierce determination to fight for their clients and track record of significant legal victories,” said Anthony Froio, the firm’s Chairman of the Executive Board and Managing Partner.
