In re Workers' Compensation Refund Litigation

Represented casualty insurers against the State of Minnesota and obtained a summary judgment ruling that excess workers’ compensation reinsurance payments violated the contract impairment clause of the U.S. Constitution, resulting in refund of $700 million.
