Jackson v. SFC Global Supply Chain, Inc. (S.D. Ill)

In September 2021, Robins Kaplan resolved a putative nationwide false advertising class action on behalf of defendant and global food manufacturer SFC Global Supply Chain, Inc. (“Schwan’s”). Plaintiffs filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and sought damages based on alleged false and misleading labeling of Red Baron pizzas. After most of the damages claims were dismissed under Rule 12(b)(6), Robins Kaplan achieved a confidential settlement and stipulated dismissal.
