Meegan Hollywood Named to Global Competition Review’s 40 Under 40
May 13, 2020
Robins Kaplan is pleased to announce that partner Meegan Hollywood has been named to Global Competition Review’s 40 Under 40 List. The list, published every four years, recognizes the world’s top antitrust and competition specialists who are under the age of 40. Recipients are nominated by companies, law firms, economic consultancies, enforcement agencies, and academic institutions.
Meegan, as a member of Robins Kaplan’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Group, has helped recover more than $1.5 billion for victims of anticompetitive conduct. Her notable work includes helping her team secure $1.2 billion in settlements in In re Air Cargo Shipping Services Antitrust Litigation, the massive litigation against 32 global airlines. She is currently litigating In re Local TV Advertising Antitrust Litigation, which alleges that the defendants, whom collectively own more than 500 local stations, engaged in a scheme to artificially inflate the price of advertisements in violation of federal antitrust law. Additionally, she currently represents a direct action plaintiff in opt-out litigation against two of the largest freight railroads in the country for allegedly conspiring to fix prices on rail shipments.
Meegan has previously been named to the American Bar Association’s “On the Rise: Top 40 Young Lawyer” list, a Rising Star by the New York Law Journal, a top Woman in Investigations by Global Investigations Review, and a Lawyer of the Year: Under 40 finalist by Global Competition Review.
