Seven Robins Kaplan Attorneys Named to Minnesota Lawyer’s Power 30: Personal Injury List
July 22, 2024
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Bob Bennett, Katie Bennett, Elizabeth Fors, Teresa Fariss McClain, Andrew Noel, Philip Sieff, and Tara Sutton have been selected to Minnesota Lawyer’s POWER 30: Personal Injury list, honoring the state’s top personal injury attorneys.
Minnesota Lawyer selected the POWER 30 based on interviews with Minnesota attorneys, a review of significant matters, and Minnesota Lawyer’s own coverage of top practitioners and impactful cases. According to Minnesota Lawyer, the POWER 30 profiles attorneys “whose mere presence on a case signifies the stakes, who have influenced the direction of the law, whose leadership in the community is pervasive and whose respect within the bar is undeniable.”
- Bob Bennett is known for taking high-profile cases, shedding light on injustice, and prompting change. His efforts have been instrumental in sparking a nationwide reassessment of law enforcement policies, procedures, and conduct. He has won multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements with regularity over the span of four decades.
- Katie Bennett focuses her practice on federal civil rights along with catastrophic personal injury cases, taking on formidable opponents such as police departments, insurance companies, and other powerful entities. She skillfully advocates for her clients throughout every phase of the legal process.
- Elizabeth Fors is passionate about helping those injured from medical malpractice or personal injury. She has secured multiple six- and seven-figure settlements and verdicts throughout her career, including the largest wrongful death verdict in Minnesota history.
- Teresa Fariss McClain has devoted her career to advocating for individuals, first as a registered nurse and now as a partner seeking justice for those who have been harmed by medical errors, medical negligence, or birth injury. Teresa has secured numerous multimillion settlements and verdicts for her clients. This is the fourth consecutive year she has been named to the POWER 30.
- Andrew Noel represents plaintiffs in federal civil rights cases against law enforcement and correctional facilities. He also advocates for those injured through careless illegal conduct. Over the course of more than 20 years, he has achieved unprecedented success in cases against cities and counties for constitutional violations.
- Philip Sieff has significant experience representing families coping with the wrongful death of a loved one, particularly a child, having handled hundreds of wrongful death cases. With nearly three decades of experience in front of judges and juries, he has tried—and won— personal injury and wrongful death cases resulting in numerous million-dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients.
- Tara Sutton boasts over 30 years of experience marked by consistent triumphs in securing justice for individuals harmed by pharmaceuticals. Notably, she recently secured a landmark $7.75 million verdict against CRC Industries for its failure to prevent the foreseeable misuse of its aerosol dust remover products.
