Meegan Hollywood Receives Esteemed ABA On the Rise: Top 40 Young Lawyer Award
June 20, 2018
New York, NY—June 20, 2018—Robins Kaplan LLP® principal Meegan Hollywood has been named an On the Rise: Top 40 Young Lawyer by the American Bar Association. This award, issued by the ABA’s Young Lawyers Division, recognizes only 40 lawyers across the country who are under the age of 36 or admitted to practice for five years or less, and exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community service.
Hollywood, a member of Robins Kaplan’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation practice who was promoted to principal earlier this year, has helped recover more than $1.5 billion for victims of anticompetitive conduct. After helping secure $1.2 billion in settlements in In re Air Cargo Shipping Services Antitrust Litigation, the massive litigation against 32 global airlines, she currently acts as co-lead counsel in an antitrust action against the dominant suppliers of IV saline solution, alleging that defendants Baxter and Hospira orchestrated an artificial price increase under the pretext of a supply shortage.
The ABA also recognized Hollywood for her leadership within Robins Kaplan and the legal community. At Robins Kaplan, Meegan devotes her time to the gender inclusion working group of the diversity committee, and serves as the pro bono coordinator for the firm’s New York office. She has become active in multiple bar associations, including the National Association of Women Lawyers. She also serves as the Young Lawyer Representative for the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section, Global Private Litigation Committee.
Hollywood has previously been named a Rising Star by the New York Law Journal, a top Woman in Investigations by Global Investigations Review, and a Lawyer of the Year: Under 40 finalist by Global Competition Review.
The complete list of ABA honorees is available here.
