Lisa Beane Named Finalist in Future Leader – LGBT Equality Category

Chambers has shortlisted Robins Kaplan for the Most Inclusive Firm for LGBT Lawyers Award in their inaugural Diversity Awards USA. Lisa Beane, an associate at the firm, has also been named a finalist in the Future Leader – LGBT Equality category.

Chambers’ Diversity Awards celebrate the achievements of lawyers from non-traditional backgrounds and shine a spotlight on the firms and individuals affecting positive change in the legal profession. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on June 16 in New York.

Robins Kaplan has had formal diversity initiatives in place since 1999, and is committed to enhancing gender, racial, ethnic, and LGBT diversity within our firm and local communities. The firm has contributed more than $41 million to charitable causes since 1999, including diversity scholarships and initiatives such as the Disability Rights Legal Center, Human Rights Campaign, and the United Negro College Fund.
