Ronald Schutz Named Notable Military Veteran Executive by Twin Cities Business
October 7, 2022
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Ronald Schutz has been named a “Notable Military Veteran Executive” by Twin Cities Business. This award recognizes best-in-class executives in Minnesota who served in the U.S. military.
Ronald Schutz is Chair of the firm’s Executive Board, a position he has held since 2019. His career-long accomplishments began while serving in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, where he tried twenty felony-level jury court martials. He has since won a nine-figure and multiple eight-figure jury verdicts, and has secured trial victories against behemoths such as Apple, General Electric, Clear Channel, Sony, and Canon.
Schutz is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, which is the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America. Becoming a Fellow is by invitation only and membership is limited to 1% of the total lawyer population. Schutz is extensively involved in community and public affairs, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Center of the American Experiment and Tee It Up for The Troops, an organization that helps active duty service members, veterans and their families heal, transition, grow and thrive.
“Ron is well-deserving of this award,” said Steve Schumeister, Managing Partner of Robins Kaplan. “He brings relentless energy, talent, and leadership to all his endeavors in helping veterans, his firm colleagues, and the local community.”
