Combining emerging technologies with legal reasoning, Maija McLaughlin analyzes and advises on evidentiary matters for Robins Kaplan’s Ediscovery department. Ms. McLaughlin has enjoyed a particular focus on long-term and complex litigation, cultivating a passion and aptitude for investigation. Her experience navigating significant universes of data makes her an effective choice to provide contained and comprehensive context to a single piece of evidence in supporting witnesses, experts, and litigation teams in tactical planning and varied proceedings.Maija began her career in Ediscovery leading the evidence production for a worldwide banking and financial services holding company. Since joining Robins Kaplan in 2016, she has actively worked in a federal antitrust case against defendants Union Pacific Railroad Company and BNSF Railway Company for allegedly conspiring to increase revenue by imposing non-negotiable fuel surcharges on rail shipments. Partnering with litigation teams in bi-coastal offices, she currently provides guidance on over one million documents.
