Maija McLaughlin

Maija McLaughlin
Discovery Attorney

Experience
Combining emerging technologies with legal reasoning, Maija McLaughlin analyzes and advises on evidentiary matters for Robins Kaplan’s Ediscovery department. Beginning with initial requests and consulting throughout the trial process, she works in many stages of discovery to evaluate, elevate, and prioritize key evidence in the support and defense of sophisticated claims.
Ms. McLaughlin has enjoyed a particular focus on long-term and complex litigation, cultivating a passion and aptitude for investigation. Her experience navigating significant universes of data makes her an effective choice to provide contained and comprehensive context to a single piece of evidence in supporting witnesses, experts, and litigation teams in tactical planning and varied proceedings.
Maija began her career in Ediscovery leading the evidence production for a worldwide banking and financial services holding company. Since joining Robins Kaplan in 2016, she has actively worked in a federal antitrust case against defendants Union Pacific Railroad Company and BNSF Railway Company for allegedly conspiring to increase revenue by imposing non-negotiable fuel surcharges on rail shipments. Partnering with litigation teams in bi-coastal offices, she currently provides guidance on over one million documents.- Minnesota
