Tribal Boundary Disputes
We can represent Tribes when state or local governments attempt to diminish Tribal boundaries. As South Dakota's United States Attorney, Brendan Johnson worked successfully with the Yankton Sioux Tribe to defend claims by the state and local government that the Reservation had been disestablished. We recognize the sacred nature of Treaties, and will work exclusively with tribes when other governmental entities attempt to diminish boundaries or disestablish Reservations.
