Carrie Joines, BAN, RN, OCN, CCM
Senior Medical Analyst
Experience
Carrie describes spending much of her nursing career caring for children and families impacted by cancer or the need for transplant as an “honor.” She began her career in adult and pediatric oncology, as well as pediatric stem cell transplant care. From there, Carrie transitioned to case management, which allowed her to support people with complicated oncology and transplant needs from diagnosis to remission. This work led Carrie to see the disparities in how people receive medical care and develop a passion for seeking accountability within the health care system. The natural next step was to move from patient care to patient advocacy in the legal arena. You will find Carrie involved in every part of your case, from your first meeting, through settlement or trial.
Carrie believes that people deserve to have nurses by their side in the patient room and in the courtroom. She thanks those for trusting her to help find healing through justice.
