David W. Beehler
Of Counsel

Experience
In his career at Robins Kaplan, David Beehler has achieved billions of dollars in verdicts and settlements on behalf of the firm’s clients, including an arbitration award of $2.763 billion won for Kraft against Starbucks. His results also include patent infringement and financial fraud cases, each exceeding $100 million. As a defense lawyer, David successfully defended companies wrongfully accused of intellectual property infringement (patents, trademarks, and copyrights) as well as accusations by the Federal Trade Commission of anticompetitive conduct with respect to patent portfolios.
Using his three decades of experience, David advises clients on competitive and trial strategies in their most important disputes. He’s also focused on guiding organizations in Affirmative Recoveries for their in-house legal departments based on assets and strategies often overlooked.
