Overview

Yumeng has represented clients in the Valley—from startup founders and venture capitalists to directors and officers of public companies and investment banks. Her practice spans securities litigation, intellectual property litigation, and complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on consumer and mobile technologies and life sciences. Yumeng has led briefing in capital raising disputes, fiduciary claims, securities frauds, and trade secret infringements.

Yumeng’s experience working for federal and state judges and for a venture capital fund gives her insight into the dynamics of business and litigation, particularly in high-stakes, complex matters. She spent a summer externing for the Honorable Ruth A. Kwan of the State Court of California, County of Los Angeles, and a year clerking for the Honorable Laurel Beeler of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Yumeng earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles in Political Science and a Juris Doctor from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. She is a member of the Edward J. McFetridge American Inn of Court.
