Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Lauren Roso has been named to Minnesota Lawyer’s fourth annual Top Women in Law class, celebrating the outstanding achievements of women in Minnesota’s legal community. Honorees were selected based on the core principles of leadership, professionalism, accomplishment, and passion for making a difference.
Lauren Roso is a trial attorney who represents clients in complex civil rights, government investigations, and business litigation matters, with a particular focus on police misconduct, excessive force, and jail and prison abuse. She draws on a decade of experience in private practice and public service to advocate for clients and hold individuals, companies, and government actors accountable.
Before joining Robins Kaplan, Lauren served as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota, where she litigated dozens of matters to jury verdict or resolution. Her experience included prosecuting complex narcotics trafficking, money laundering, and violent crimes, as well as investigating and charging national security threats and human rights abuses.
Lauren also has a longstanding commitment to the legal community and public service. She has volunteered with organizations including the Children’s Law Center and The Veterans Consortium and currently serves as a volunteer judge for oral advocacy and moot court programs at the University of Minnesota Law School and Macalester College. In 2026, she was named to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Global Investigations Lawyers.
Honorees will be celebrated at an awards event on Thursday, October 22, in Minneapolis.
