In re Farm-Raised Salmon & Salmon Prods. Antitrust Litigation

Robins Kaplan recently reached a global, cost-of-defense settlement on behalf of a Norwegian salmon sales and distribution company, resolving a series of putative nationwide class actions that alleged a global price-fixing conspiracy among sellers of Norwegian farmed Atlantic salmon. According to the Plaintiffs’ complaint, tens of billions of dollars of Atlantic salmon were imported into the United States during the class period. The cases were venued in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, with co-pending investigations in Europe and similar class actions in Canada.
