Robins Kaplan recently reached a global, cost-of-defense settlement on behalf of a Norwegian salmon sales and distribution company, resolving a series of putative nationwide class actions that alleged a global price-fixing conspiracy among sellers of Norwegian farmed Atlantic salmon. The cases were venued in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, with co-pending investigations in Europe and similar class actions in Canada.
