Dodge Ram 2500 & 3500 Emissions Violation
Robins Kaplan attorneys are actively examining potential claims of behalf of Dodge Ram owners who may have unknowingly purchased vehicles with undisclosed emissions violations by the manufacturer.
About the Dodge Ram Clean Air Act Violation Settlement
In December 2023, the U.S. Department of Justice announced a $1.675 billion penalty to settle claims that the engine manufacturer Cummins Inc. violated the Clean Air Act by installing emissions defeat devices, and undisclosed auxiliary emission control devices, on hundreds of thousands of Ram 2500 and 3500 diesel pickup truck engines.
Affected Vehicle Models Include:
Dodge Ram 3500 (2013-2023)
Dodge Ram 2500 (2013-2023)
Are You an Owner of a Ram Truck with Emissions Violations?
The U.S. Department of Justice's allegations are serious. Nearly one million Cummins engines, installed in Ram pickup trucks, were equipped with devices designed to disable emissions controls. This violation not only breaches environmental laws but also impacts the trust and investments of truck owners.
If you are the current owner of a 2013-2023 Dodge Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 pickup with a diesel engine, your vehicle may be part of this massive violation of environmental and consumer trust. As a vehicle owner, you may have a claim to recovery or compensation.
