Overview

Reauna Stiff is an associate in Robins Kaplan’s Business Litigation Group, where she focuses her practice on complex commercial and health care disputes. Her practice includes fraud investigations and recovery, arbitrations, and litigation involving health care networks and benefit plan administration.

Reauna works with health care payors, providers, and administrators in both affirmative and defensive matters, including disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, Medicare, Medicaid, and ERISA. She also represents businesses in commercial disputes and internal fraud investigations, with a focus on identifying opportunities for affirmative recovery and helping clients protect their financial interests.

Reauna brings an investigative and detail-oriented approach to her work. Drawing on her background in law, political science, and mass media, she focuses on uncovering the facts that drive a matter and translating complex legal and factual issues into clear, persuasive narratives. She approaches each matter with an understanding that effective advocacy begins with listening closely to clients, understanding their objectives, and developing a strategy tailored to their interests.

Before joining Robins Kaplan, Reauna completed a clerkship with the Superior Court and Supreme Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands, where she gained insight into judicial decision-making while working on a range of civil and criminal matters. She also served as a judicial extern to U.S. Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Cowan Wright of the District of Minnesota.

While attending the University of Minnesota Law School, Reauna was a student attorney in the Innocence Clinic, where she conducted investigative work in connection with a case that resulted in a client’s exoneration following an evidentiary hearing. She also competed on the Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Moot Court and was the commencement speaker for the law school’s 2025 graduating class.
