Robins Kaplan, Five Partners Recognized in Managing IP’s 2026 IP Stars Rankings

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that the firm and five of its attorneys have been recognized in the 2026 edition of Managing IP’s IP Stars, with the firm ranked nationally across three intellectual property practice areas.

Robins Kaplan earned national rankings for Copyright & Related Rights, Patent Disputes, and PTAB Litigation. The firm also received state-level recognition for Trademark Disputes in California and Trademark Disputes and Patent Disputes in Minnesota.

According to Managing IP, IP Stars is a specialist guide to intellectual property law firms and practitioners, identifying leading firms and attorneys across a range of IP practice areas and jurisdictions.

Five Robins Kaplan partners were named to the 2026 guide:

• Jake Holdreith — Patent Star, Minnesota. Holdreith leads the Health and Life Sciences Industry Group at Robins Kaplan. He also serves as the Minneapolis Office Managing Partner and as a member of the firm's Executive Board. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Holdreith is known for securing multi-million-dollar verdicts and resolving complex IP and regulatory cases at all stages of litigation.
• Cyrus Morton — Patent Star, Minnesota. Morton chairs the firm’s Patent Office Trials Group. For more than 25 years, he has advised clients ranging from individual inventors to global corporations on all aspects of IP litigation. He was the first attorney to handle all four types of post-grant proceedings under the America Invents Act, reinforcing his position as a leader in PTAB practice.
• Christopher Pinahs — Patent Star, Minnesota. Pinahs primarily litigates pharmaceutical and medical device patent disputes. With a background in biological sciences, he also advises life sciences clients on patent strategy, regulatory readiness, and due diligence. He has secured key victories in Hatch-Waxman litigation and PTAB proceedings and has significant trial and appellate experience in complex patent disputes.
• Bryan Vogel — Patent Star, New York. Vogel is a founding partner of the firm’s New York office and leads the firm’s International Trade Commission practice. He handles high-stakes intellectual property disputes in the United States and abroad. With a background in chemical engineering and extensive cross-border experience, Vogel represents clients in litigation, appeals, global licensing, and technology transactions.
• Emily Tremblay — Rising Star, Minnesota; 40 & Under List, Midwest. Tremblay represents clients in complex patent litigation throughout the country, handling disputes involving semiconductors, displays, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other technologies. Most recently, she second-chaired the trial in Longitude Licensing Ltd. v. BOE Technology Group Co. Ltd., securing a $67 million jury verdict.
