Rashanda’s advocacy includes raising awareness about medical risks affecting women, including her work on Depo-Provera. She holds leadership roles with the Hennepin County Bar Association, Prodeo Academy, and the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers, where she helps mentor law students. Rashanda is also a co-founder of LOCUS, which fosters authentic community building and resource sharing for BIPOC individuals in Minnesota.
