Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Peter Foundas has been named Deputy Managing Partner of the firm’s Boston office. In this new leadership role, Peter will help oversee the strategic direction, operations, and continued growth of the Boston office while maintaining his dynamic legal practice.
Peter is a highly accomplished trial attorney and transactional advisor who brings a unique dual focus to his practice—litigating complex commercial disputes and guiding clients through intricate business transactions. With a background in accounting and a decade of high-level experience, Peter’s legal insight and judgment have made him a trusted advisor to a wide range of clients, including private companies, venture investors, real estate developers, and business owners.

In his litigation practice, Peter represents clients in high-stakes disputes involving fiduciary duties, fraud, trade secrets, professional malpractice, business divorces, and other commercial conflicts. Notable recent work includes obtaining a stay of enforcement of a $14 million-plus judgment in Massachusetts, and, in a separate matter, obtaining a default judgment against the defendants for their egregious discovery violations, securing a judgment for his clients’ full damages as well as all attorneys’ fees incurred to obtain the judgment.
On the transactional side, Peter advises clients on complex business deals, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, venture capital investments, and general corporate counseling. He has led multi-million-dollar transactions for clients in sectors ranging from green tech and luxury travel to women’s health and high-end apparel.
