Five Partners Named to IAM Strategy 300 List of Leading IP Strategists

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Patrick Arenz, Aaron Fahrenkrog, Cyrus Morton, Emily Tremblay, and Logan Drew have been named to the 2026 IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists list. The list highlights individuals leading the way in developing and implementing strategies that maximize the value of intellectual property portfolios.

Patrick Arenz is a trial lawyer who represents clients on both sides of high-stakes intellectual property disputes. He has tried and won multimillion-dollar cases across the country, including a $42.4 million willful patent infringement verdict in Willis Electric v. Polygroup that was affirmed on appeal and resulted in a $79.5 million satisfaction of judgment. He has also successfully defended clients against significant patent infringement claims, including securing a complete defense verdict that was affirmed on appeal. Patrick is a Fellow in both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Aaron Fahrenkrog is a trial lawyer who helps patent owners protect their rights and recover fair value from companies using the patented inventions without permission. Aaron has helped patent owners recover hundreds of millions of dollars in patent litigation combined with strategic licensing. Aaron led the trial team that secured a $67 million willful infringement jury verdict in January 2026 in Longitude Licensing Ltd. v. BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd.

Cyrus Morton leads the firm’s Patent Office Trials Group and is a member of the Executive Board. With more than 25 years of experience, he advises a broad range of clients on all facets of IP litigation. He made history as the first, and still only, attorney to handle all four types of post-grant proceedings under the America Invents Act, solidifying his reputation as a national leader in PTAB practice. To date, he has served as lead counsel in more than 100 IPR proceedings.

Emily Tremblay is a patent trial lawyer focused on protecting and monetizing intellectual property across high-tech and life sciences industries. She represents clients in complex patent litigation throughout the country, handling disputes involving semiconductors, displays, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other technologies. Most recently, she second-chaired the trial in Longitude Licensing Ltd. v. BOE Technology Group Co. Ltd., securing a $67 million jury verdict.

Logan Drew chairs the firm’s National IP and Technology Group. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex patent infringement matters, technology licensing, and contractual disputes involving clients’ IP assets. His litigation experience spans a wide range of technical fields, including semiconductor fabrication techniques and process control, integrated circuit design/architecture and power and thermal management, high-speed interfaces, and more.
