Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partner Brandon Vaughn has been named to the Twin Cities Business 2026 Notable Litigators & Trial Attorneys list.
Vaughn was recognized for his outstanding advocacy on behalf of individuals and families in complex medical malpractice and personal injury matters. With nearly two decades of experience, he has built a reputation for securing significant results for clients while providing compassionate, client-centered representation.
In 2025 alone, Vaughn secured multiple six- and seven-figure settlements for his clients, including a $2.2 million settlement on behalf of the family of an eight-year-old child whose death was alleged to have resulted from a healthcare provider's failure to timely diagnose and treat pneumonia. The family plans to use a portion of the settlement to support charitable work in the child's memory. Other notable results included a $625,000 settlement involving delayed diagnosis of cervical cancer and a $525,000 settlement arising from allegations that excessive medication administration contributed to a patient's death.
Beyond his work on behalf of clients, Vaughn is widely recognized as a leader in Minnesota's legal community. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Minnesota Association for Justice and the Minnesota State Bar Association and previously served as president of the Hennepin County Bar Association. He is also committed to advancing the legal profession through mentorship, education, and advocacy. He is frequently invited to speak at law schools and legal associations, and his insights have been featured in publications such as Bloomberg Law, Law360, and Minnesota Lawyer.
