Sperian Respiratory Protection USA LLC v. Draeger Safety Inc

Robins Kaplan LLP served as lead defense counsel for Draeger Safety Inc in a patent infringement suit brought by Sperian Respiratory Protection USA involving Self Contained Breathing Apparatus ("SCBA") for the fire service industry. Plaintiff filed suit against Draeger in September 2008 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Following discovery and a Markman hearing, the case settled confidentially in November 2009 with no changes made to Draeger's product.
