Experience
Mr. Leighton is a trial attorney dedicated to curbing the excesses of the health care system and tackling some of the most complex problems facing the industry. His work has had an emphasis on billing fraud, government investigations, compliance failures, and contractual disputes.
While attending law school, Mr. Leighton supported the Robins Kaplan health care litigation group full time as an industry intelligence analyst responsible for understanding the economic, operational, and regulatory environment of the health care industry. Prior to joining Robins Kaplan, he worked as a congressional aide where he was able to see under the hood of the legislative and regulatory process while immolated in the passage of, and efforts to repeal, the Affordable Care Act.
