Holland Hauenstein is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Litigation Group. She draws upon technical understanding and skillful advocacy to achieve success for clients. Holland earned her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law. There she completed coursework in patent and trademark law and participated in trademark moot court. An avid writer, Holland served on the Iowa Law Review and composed seminar course papers on environmental and agricultural law and policy. Holland also gained practical experience during law school, assisting in the prosecution and protection of patents and trademarks as a law firm student clerk and externing with the Environmental Law Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Iowa.
Holland’s unique technical background allows her to efficiently address complex issues and effectively communicate to a broad audience. Ms. Hauenstein earned a master’s degree from Purdue University in Agronomy through the Interdisciplinary Ecological Sciences & Engineering Program. While representing her department in the Purdue Graduate Student Senate, Holland gained appointment to the Purdue Student Supreme Court. As an undergraduate, Holland studied Biology and English at Grinnell College, exploring the gamut of pre-medical coursework while honing her critical writing skills.
