Overview

Adrian Kipp is an intellectual property litigator who represents clients in patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and technology-related disputes. His practice focuses on helping innovators, technology companies, and intellectual property owners protect and enforce their rights in high-stakes litigation and administrative proceedings.

Adrian has experience representing clients through every stage of litigation, from pre-suit investigations and pleadings through discovery, dispositive motions, trial, and appeal. He works closely with clients to develop litigation strategies that support their business goals, whether pursuing claims, defending against allegations of infringement, or resolving complex intellectual property disputes.

A significant focus of Adrian’s practice is patent litigation. He assists clients in patent infringement disputes in federal courts and matters involving the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including Inter Partes Review (IPR) and other post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). His experience includes analyzing infringement and validity issues, coordinating litigation and post-grant strategies, managing discovery, working with technical experts, and developing persuasive arguments on complex technological issues.

Before entering the legal profession, Adrian worked as a chemist and held technical roles in the pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing industries. His scientific background provides him with a practical understanding of complex technologies and enables him to communicate technical concepts effectively to judges, juries, arbitrators, and administrative tribunals.
