Experience
Waleed Abbasi’s practice encompasses both commercial litigation and antitrust law. His practice ranges from representing class action plaintiffs in the prosecution of anticompetitive practices to complex commercial actions involving corporate clients.
Waleed earned his law degree from Cornell Law School where he was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. During law school, Waleed assisted in the representation of a Guantanamo Bay detainee in a habeas proceeding. Waleed also interned with the Federal Trade Commission during law school. Prior to law school, Waleed completed his undergraduate studies in economics and political science at Rutgers University’s Newark Campus where he served as President of the Student Governing Association.
