Waleed Abbasi has a background in litigation that spans a variety of area commercial litigation matters including construction disputes, financial services actions, and product liability litigation. He has represented Fortune 500 companies across every stage of litigation, ranging from drafting pleadings to arguing summary judgment motions in state and federal courts.

Waleed earned his law degree from Cornell Law School where he was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. During law school, Waleed assisted in the representation of a Guantanamo Bay detainee in a habeas proceeding. Waleed also interned with the Federal Trade Commission during law school. Prior to law school, Waleed completed his undergraduate studies in economics and political science at Rutgers University’s Newark Campus where he served as President of the Student Governing Association.
