Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has earned a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s 2026 Corporate Equality Index, the nation’s leading benchmarking survey for LGBTQ+ workplace equality. With this distinction, Robins Kaplan joins over 500 U.S. businesses recognized with HRCF’s Equality 100 Award as Leaders in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion.

The Corporate Equality Index evaluates corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality, including non-discrimination policies, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.

Robins Kaplan is dedicated to advancing LGBTQ+ rights through meaningful legal advocacy and education. The firm regularly partners with OutFront Minnesota to provide pro bono legal clinics for transgender individuals seeking name changes. Additionally, the firm takes on significant pro bono cases involving LGBTQ+ rights, including litigation to advance the rights of transgender individuals in the correctional system.

Beyond direct legal representation, the firm is committed to fostering ongoing education and dialogue around LGBTQ+ issues. During Pride Month, the firm's LGBTQ+ Resource Group hosted a CLE program featuring journalist Chris Geidner, who examined major court cases and legal developments and explored landmark litigation involving LGBTQ+ rights, executive authority, separation of powers, and agency restructuring.
