This marks the fourth consecutive year Mr. Martinez has been selected for this prestigious recognition. He also serves as outside general counsel for select clients.
A longtime leader at Robins Kaplan, Mr. Martinez is an elected member of the firm’s Executive Board and a member of its Diversity Committee. Deeply committed to public service, he has served on the Board of Directors for California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc., for over 15 years. As Chair of Robins Kaplan’s Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Group, Mr. Menton brings over 30 years of experience navigating high-stakes corporate bankruptcies, fiduciary disputes, and complex litigation. His practice spans distressed debt litigation, asset recovery, and creditor’s rights, with a client base that includes debtors, trustees, creditors, directors and officers, and investment funds. Known for delivering strategic, results-driven legal solutions, Mr. Menton has resolved multi-million-dollar matters across industries such as real estate, finance, healthcare, and entertainment.
Mr. Menton’s leadership extends beyond client advocacy. He is dedicated to public service, earning the Wiley M. Manuel Pro Bono Certificate for his significant pro bono work. He has actively contributed to the legal profession through roles on the California State Bar’s Business Law Section and Law360’s Bankruptcy Editorial Advisory Board and has served in leadership positions within the American Bar Association and Turnaround Management Association.
