Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partner Michael Geibelson has been named to the 2025 Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Real Estate Lawyers, a prestigious guide honoring top attorneys around the world for their exceptional work in real estate law, including development, finance, leasing, litigation, and REIT structuring.

Geibelson is one of just three lawyers recognized for real estate litigation in Los Angeles, a testament to his exceptional record of trial success and experience in the field. He represents a diverse range of clients, including retailers, developers, technology and cannabis companies, and investors, in high-stakes real estate and business disputes across California and beyond.

Geibelson is the former Chair of the California State Bar’s Litigation Section and a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers. He has secured significant courtroom victories, including the termination of a lease for a state-of-the-art cannabis production facility on behalf of a foreclosing lender and the decertification of a class action involving alleged privacy violations with exposure to statutory damages exceeding $1 billion.

Beyond the courtroom, he is a sought-after speaker, offering insights on litigation skills and strategies to make litigation, electronic discovery, and trial more efficient and less costly. He also plays an active role in professional and civic organizations, serving in advisory roles with Angel City Sports and the Bandini Foundation.
