Menton serves as Chair of Robins Kaplan’s Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Group and has more than three decades of experience handling sophisticated restructuring and insolvency matters. His practice focuses on corporate bankruptcies, distressed debt and related litigation, asset recovery, and fiduciary disputes. He regularly advises debtors, trustees, creditors, and other stakeholders in complex matters requiring strategic and practical legal counsel.

Menton has also maintained a longstanding commitment to leadership within the legal profession and to serving the broader community. His pro bono efforts have been recognized with the Wiley M. Manuel Pro Bono Certificate, awarded for significant contributions of free legal services. He previously served as Chair of the California Lawyers Association Business Law Section and has held leadership and advisory roles with organizations including the American Bar Association, the Turnaround Management Association, and Law360’s Bankruptcy Editorial Advisory Board.

Throughout his career, Menton has earned recognition for both his legal skill and professional leadership. He has been named among the Daily Journal’s Leading Commercial Litigators and the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers.
