Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Ellen Jalkut has been named to Profiles in Leadership Journal’s 2026 Women Worth Watching in Leadership list. This award recognizes accomplished women who use their talents and influence to enhance both their workplace and local community.

Jalkut is a seasoned antitrust litigator whose practice focuses on complex class actions and multidistrict litigation involving allegations of price-fixing, unlawful monopolization, and other anticompetitive conduct. She serves in court-appointed leadership roles in high-stakes matters and is widely recognized for her strategic approach to antitrust litigation, informed by her background in economics.

Jalkut currently serves as co-lead counsel representing a class of end-user purchasers in In re HDD Suspension Assemblies Antitrust Litigation, a multidistrict litigation involving allegations of a global price-fixing conspiracy. She also serves on the leadership team in In re Granulated Sugar Antitrust Litigation and represents purchasers of broadcast television spot advertising in litigation challenging alleged anticompetitive conduct in that industry.

Before entering the legal profession, Jalkut worked in economic consulting and earned a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan’s Rackham Graduate School. She regularly leverages her economics training in complex antitrust and securities matters, collaborating closely with experts on issues relating to liability, class certification, and damages. She is also a frequent writer and speaker on developments in antitrust and class action litigation.
