Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Anthony Froio, Chair of the Executive Board and Managing Partner, has been selected to the 2026 Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame.
The Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame recognizes the Commonwealth’s most distinguished attorneys for a lifetime of achievement, leadership, and service to the legal profession. Membership is reserved for lawyers who have practiced for 30 years or more and whose careers have helped shape the law, the bar, and the pursuit of justice across Massachusetts.
“I'm deeply honored to be recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly,” Froio said. “Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to learn from exceptional mentors, work alongside talented colleagues, and represent remarkable clients. This recognition is really a reflection of all the people who have supported and challenged me along the way.”
Froio has spent more than three decades at Robins Kaplan, where he has built a trial practice representing Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, manufacturers, financial institutions, and business leaders in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, employment, bankruptcy, and product liability matters. In 2024, he was elected Chair of the Executive Board and Managing Partner after serving nearly 20 years as Managing Partner of the firm’s Boston office.
In addition to his leadership at Robins Kaplan, Froio has held numerous leadership roles within the Massachusetts legal community. He has served on the Commonwealth’s Judicial Nominating Commission, the Executive Committee and Council of the Boston Bar Association, and as Chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Law Firm Leadership Forum. He is also a former president of the Boston Bar Foundation and has long supported initiatives promoting diversity, inclusion, mentorship, and pro bono service.
Froio’s commitment to service extends beyond the legal profession. More than two decades ago, he helped found Robins Kaplan’s annual charity golf tournament benefiting Special Olympics Massachusetts, which has raised more than $1.1 million to support athletes across the Commonwealth. He also served as Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of Tufts Medical Center and has held multiple leadership roles in civic and charitable organizations.
The Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be recognized at an awards program on September 15, 2026, in Boston.
