$270,000 Verdict for Pain and Suffering, Lost Wages in California Truck Accident

Justine E. Lewis v. Cunado Enterprise et al.
Robins Kaplan attorneys represented Justine Lewis, a 68-year-old woman who was hit by a speeding cement truck when driving in Los Angeles, California. Ms. Lewis suffered a concussion and other musculoskeletal injuries. The defense argued that Ms. Lewis never suffered a concussion, and that her symptoms were related to numerous other factors. After a two-week trial in Santa Monica, the jury sided with Ms. Lewis and awarded her $270,000 for her pain and suffering as well as lost wages.
