Secured Settlement in Excess of $432 Million in Class Action Against Wells Fargo

In re: Wells Fargo Collateral Protection Insurance Litigation, 17-ml-02797 (C.D. Cal.)

Robins Kaplan secured a $432.4 million class action settlement as court-appointed co-lead counsel on behalf of plaintiffs impacted by Wells Fargo and its insurance underwriter, National General, having wrongfully force-placed insurance on Wells Fargo’s auto loan customers in violation of federal racketeering, antitrust, and state competition laws. Final approval of the settlement is pending.
