Robins Kaplan Recognized in 2023 World Trademark Review 1000
February 28, 2023
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that World Trademark Review has named the firm and three of its partners to the 2023 edition of WTR 1000: The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals.
WTR 1000 is the premiere legal directory dedicated entirely to researching and recommending top trademark practices and practitioners across the world. Factors considered in the selection process include peer and client feedback, depth of expertise, market presence, and level of work.
In its comments about Robins Kaplan, WTR 1000 reported, “Feared and admired as an IP litigation firm, Robins Kaplan has what it takes to chart a path to victory in the most difficult and demanding patent and trademark cases. No one-trick pony, the ensemble has a proven ability to direct brand strategy and manage high-impact prosecutions, too. Across the board it puts to work high-end legal technologies to drive efficiency and save patrons time and money.”
Partners Christopher Larus, William Manske, and David Martinez have once again been included in this year’s WTR 1000:
- Christopher Larus is the chair of the firm’s National IP and Technology Litigation Group. For more than 25 years, he has helped leading technology companies protect and monetize their intellectual property. He tries complex trademark, trade dress, advertising dispute, and other IP cases in courts throughout the United States in both national and international arbitration.
- William Manske represents individuals and companies in intellectual property matters across a diverse set of industries, including medical device, agribusiness, manufacturing, and financial services. He represents clients in litigation nationwide on complex trademark, patent, trade secret, and copyright matters and advises clients on brand management issues, including trademark acquisition, maintenance, and enforcement.
- David Martinez represents a wide range of clients in all forms of dispute resolution and business counseling, with an emphasis in the areas of intellectual property and commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation. His clients range from individuals to start-ups to Fortune 100 companies in the retail, fashion, real estate, health care, transportation, financial, entertainment, manufacturing, and technology industries. Mr. Martinez is an elected member of the firm’s Executive Board and a member of its DEI Committee.
