Brandon Vaughn Named to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Black Leaders List
February 9, 2023
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Brandon Vaughn has been selected for inclusion on the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Black Leaders List. This list honors local leaders who are making an impact and driving growth in the Twin Cities and beyond.
For almost fifteen years, Brandon Vaughn has dedicated his law practice to advocating for individuals and families who have been injured by others. As a partner in the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Group, he is committed to understanding the challenges clients face while helping them secure compensation for their losses. He frequently handles cases involving injuries to children after birth leading to cerebral palsy, failure to timely diagnose cancer, failure to timely diagnose stroke, and failure to provide appropriate care in nursing homes and group homes.
A longstanding advocate for equality, Vaughn has taken leadership roles in numerous professional organizations focused on diversity and inclusion, including Twin Cities Diversity in Practice and The Black Biglaw Pipeline. He also served as the President of the Hennepin County Bar Association and on the Executive Board of the Minnesota Association for Justice. Within Robins Kaplan, Vaughn leads the Black Firm Member Resource Group and Attorneys of Color Resource Group.
Vaughn’s advocacy in challenging, complex cases has earned him recognition from several professional organizations. In 2022, he was named a “Most Influential Black Lawyer” by Savoy Magazine and included in Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers in America” guide. He has also been listed in the past three editions of The Best Lawyers in America.
Vaughn’s Black Leaders List profile is available here.
