Seasoned Attorney Joins Firm’s Business Litigation Group
June 1, 2022
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Gabriel Berg has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner in the Business Litigation Group.
For the past 24 years, Berg has tried numerous complex commercial jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations across a broad range of business sectors. He has led cases involving high-stakes claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, and patent infringement. In one recent matter, he helped to expose unethical conduct that resulted in an investigation by the Maryland Attorney Grievance Committee and, ultimately, the suspension and disbarment of two Maryland lawyers. That action also resulted in a $17 million judgment in favor of his client, which was affirmed on appeal.
“Gabe comes to us with decades of experience in litigating complex, high-stakes claims. We are pleased to have a partner with a strong track record of delivering favorable results for clients join our team,” said Jason Pfeiffer, Chair of the Business Litigation Group.
“I am thrilled to be joining Robins Kaplan. In addition to partnering with an incredible group of trial lawyers, I am joining an extraordinary firm culture that I already have experienced, firsthand,” Berg said.
