Oren Langer Named New York Managing Partner
October 21, 2021
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Oren Langer has been named Managing Partner of the firm’s New York office. He had been serving as Assistant Managing Partner since late 2020.
“Oren is an exceptional attorney and leader and I am thrilled to have him in this role,” says Ron Schutz, chair of the firm’s executive board. “Oren has been part of the New York office since we opened our doors over 10 years ago and his leadership and contributions have played a critical role in our ongoing growth and success.”
Langer, who also serves on the firm’s Executive Board, focuses his practice on intellectual property and technology litigation. His experience spans various industries, including pharmaceuticals (under the Hatch-Waxman Act regulatory framework), chemicals, telecommunications, video gaming, and retail services. He also advises clients on licensing negotiations and campaigns, and monetizing intellectual property in anticipation of prospective mergers or acquisitions. Langer serves as a pro bono advocate for clients and co-chairs the firm’s Well & Good writing and pro bono program, which teaches associates to develop sound writing principles while, at the same time, produce written work product for the firm’s partnering pro bono agencies.
