Robins Kaplan LLP Attorneys Matthew Geyer and William Reiss Win Readers’ Choice Award in the Best Business Article Category at Concurrences Antitrust Writing Awards 2021

Robins Kaplan is pleased to announce that Matthew Geyer and William Reiss have won the Readers’ Choice Award in the Best Business Article category at the Concurrences Antitrust Writing Awards 2021 for their article, “No-Poach Antitrust Standards Unclear in Franchising,” originally published on October 22, 2020, in Law360. This decision is the result of a five-month process involving more than 50 international antitrust experts reviewing more than 600 articles.
Mr. Geyer and Mr. Reiss’ article explores the divergent approaches to analyzing no-poach agreements under the antitrust laws, and assesses the strategies plaintiffs and defendants are likely to employ in attempting to navigate ambiguities in the law. Read the full article here.
Benjamin Steinberg was also nominated for his article, “States Can Use the Coronavirus Response to Go After Insulin Price Gougers,” originally published in Slate on April 9, 2020.
