David Martinez Named to Daily Journal’s List of 2021 Top Intellectual Property Lawyers

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that David Martinez has been included in the Daily Journal’s 2021 list of California’s “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers.”

A partner and elected member of the Robins Kaplan Executive Board, Martinez represents a wide range of U.S. and international clients in all forms of dispute resolution and business counseling, with an emphasis in the areas of commercial and intellectual property litigation. His clients range from individuals to start-ups to Fortune 100 companies across a broad range of industries.  His fierce commitment to clients’ interests and to valued legal causes has led to significant results for the firm’s clients, including recovering hundreds of millions in antitrust damages on behalf of a preeminent national retailer, as well as securing the outright dismissal of racketeering claims against civil RICO defendants.

Martinez is a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee and has a longstanding commitment to the underprivileged and equal access to justice. In his 21 years at Robins Kaplan, he has earned a reputation for his dedication to pro bono causes, particularly in immigration matters. He currently serves as the firm’s California pro bono chair and serves on the Board of Directors of California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc.

Martinez is a prolific author and speaker, and has been recognized by numerous organizations. In recent years, he has been included in “The Best Lawyers in America,” named a “Top Trademark Professional” by World Trademark Review 1000, received Lexology’s “Client Choice Award for Intellectual Property – Copyright,” and is regularly named a “Southern California Super Lawyer.
