Amy Churan Named an Insurance Trailblazer by National Law Journal
March 1, 2021
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Amy Churan has been named an Insurance Trailblazer by the National Law Journal. The award recognizes agents of change in the practice of insurance law.
A partner in the firm’s Insurance Litigation Group, Churan handles high-stakes matters stemming from a range of catastrophic events, including COVID-19 claims, wildfires, mudslides, floods, volcanoes, hurricanes, building collapses, explosions, tsunamis, and earthquakes. Amy also handles a broad spectrum of builder’s risk, supply chain disruption, and business interruption claims.
Churan has built her practice around her ability to resolve novel coverage questions in complex cases on behalf of large, international insurers. She currently represents clients in matters originating in all corners of the United States.
A thought leader in her industry, Churan is a regular speaker and author on the subject of insurance litigation and novel coverage disputes. She has repeatedly spoken at conferences hosted by the Loss Executives Association and events hosted by London-based insurers.
