He has extensive experience planning and implementing licensing campaigns involving a broad range of intellectual property assets and technologies.
  • Cyrus Morton is the Chair of the firm’s Patent Office Trial Group, which focuses on the procedures for addressing patent validity at the Patent Office under the America Invents Act. Mr. Morton is the only PTAB practitioner who has handled all four types of post grant proceedings under the AIA.

This is the second year Schutz, Larus, and Morton have been named to the Global Leaders Guide. According to IAM, “All those listed as IAM Global Leaders merit special attention not only because of their expertise and experience relating to creating, protecting, managing, transacting and enforcing critical patent rights, but also for their ability to innovate, inspire and go above and beyond to deliver for their clients.”
