Daniel Allender Appointed to California’s Judicial Nominees Evaluation Commission

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partner Daniel Allender has been appointed to serve on the Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation (“JNE”) of the State Bar of California. In that role, Daniel and his fellow commissioners assist California Governor Gavin Newsom in selecting and appointing new judges by providing a fair and independent evaluation of candidates for both trial and appellate courts. Under state law, the Governor cannot appoint a judge until the nomination has been reviewed by the JNE Commission.
