Robins Kaplan Attorneys Honored at the 2019 Antitrust Enforcement Awards
October 14, 2019
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that the American Antitrust Institute (AAI) will be honoring the co-lead counsel of In re Automotive Parts Antitrust Litigation, including Hollis Salzman, William Reiss, and Noelle Feigenbaum with its 2019 Antitrust Enforcement Awards.
The attorneys will be honored for AAI’s “Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement in Private Practice” category. Salzman, managing partner of the firm’s New York office and co-chair of the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Group, along with Reiss, serve as Court-appointed Co-Lead Counsel in In re Automotive Parts Antitrust Litigation, the highly complex, ongoing multidistrict litigation stemming from the largest criminal antitrust investigation in U.S. history. The case, which involves allegations that an international cartel engaged in a long-running price-fixing conspiracy in the automotive parts industry, has resulted in more than $1.2 billion in partial settlements with certain defendants to date, making it the largest indirect purchaser recovery in U.S. history. Feigenbaum is the lead Robins Kaplan associate on the case.
The complete list of AAI’s 2019 honorees can be found here. The awards will be presented at a gala dinner on November 12 in Washington, D.C.
