Glenn Danas Named California Top Labor and Employment Lawyer
July 12, 2019

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Glenn A. Danas has been named a California Top Labor and Employment Lawyer by The Daily Journal. This is the fifth consecutive year that Danas has been recognized on this list.
Danas, a partner in the firm’s Appellate Advocacy and Guidance Group, has argued over 35 appeals and authored dozens of briefs in venues across California, including many divisions of the California Court of Appeal, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and multiple cases in the California Supreme Court. In recent years, Danas has achieved significant wins before the California Supreme Court, including the consumer protection matter McGill v. Citibank and the employment cases Williams v. Marshalls and Iskanian v. CLS Transportation Los Angeles. He also recently secured a win in state appellate court in Brown v. Ralphs Grocery Company, reversing a lower court ruling that the former Ralphs’ employee’s notice letter had been inadequate. Since moving to Robins Kaplan LLP, Mr. Danas has been building a robust appellate practice within the employment litigation space.
In addition to his legal practice, Danas holds several leadership roles in local professional organizations. He is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where he serves on the organization’s State Appellate Judicial Evaluation Committee and the Amicus Briefs Committee. He also holds leadership positions in the California Lawyers Association, where he serves on the Litigation Section’s Committee on Appellate Courts and the Labor and Employment Section’s Executive Committee.
