Ami ElShareif Receives Hennepin County Bar Association Excellence Award

Ami ElShareif, an associate in Robins Kaplan LLP’s Business Litigation Group, has been named a recipient of the Hennepin County Bar Association’s 2018 Excellence Award. The Excellence Awards honor HCBA members who have made contributions to the community, the organization, and the legal profession. 

Over the three years, ElShareif has devoted a great deal of time to working with the HCBA’s Diversity & Inclusion group, in which she currently serves as the vice chair. She has also served as the co-chair of the Hennepin County 1L Minority Clerkship Program for the past three years. In these roles, ElShareif has been a vocal advocate for diverse law students and attorneys, helping to ensure they have the mentorship they need to find success in the legal industry.

ElShareif is also a leader within Robins Kaplan, where she serves as a member of the firm’s Racial and Ethnic Diversity Working Group and is on the firm’s Hiring and Mentoring committees. In addition, she serves as a coordinator of the firm’s summer associate program.

ElShareif is one of nine attorneys to receive the 2018 Excellence Award, which will be presented at the HCBA’s annual meeting on the evening of May 31. To see the full list of recipients, click here.
