Robins Kaplan and Chandra Kilgriff Named 2017 Diversity Leaders by Profiles in Diversity Journal

December 2, 2016

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has been named a 2017 Diversity Leader by Profiles in Diversity Journal. The Diversity Leader Award is presented annually to both the organizations that have supported advancements in diversity and inclusion and to the diversity officers who have helped their organization achieve success. Robins Kaplan is one of just 33 honorees chosen from a worldwide pool of candidates.

According to Profiles in Diversity Journal, “Companies that are Diversity Leaders continually use the expertise of their diversity team in new ways to help them meet the challenges of today’s business environment. In these organizations, the work of the diversity officer is regarded not as a series of programs, but as a strategy for change.”

The award also recognizes the efforts of the firm’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Pro Bono manager, Chandra Kilgriff. A dedicated advocate for inclusion in the legal profession, Chandra promotes diverse perspectives in all aspects of the firm’s talent management practices. Since 2015, she has spearheaded the implementation of Robins Kaplan’s innovative Leaders Engaged in the Advancement of Diversity (LEAD) initiative, a comprehensive program that empowers the firm’s leaders to take concrete steps to increase diversity and holds them accountable for their results.

This year’s Diversity Leader Award winners will appear in a special edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal, which is due to be published in January 2017.
