Roman Silberfeld Named to Hollywood Power Lawyer List

Los Angeles (July 2011) - Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. is pleased to announce that Roman M. Silberfeld has been named to The Hollywood Reporter's annual "Power Lawyers 2011" list. Mr. Silberfeld, managing partner of the firm's Los Angeles office, is featured in the Litigation Specialists category in the 5th Annual Power Lawyers Edition of the publication that published on July 13, 2011. The list profiles 100 of the most influential entertainment attorneys in America.
Mr. Silberfeld was noted for being behind "one of the largest jury verdicts in Hollywood history, a $320 million win on behalf of U.K. production company Celador International against the Walt Disney Co. over profits from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. As lead trial counsel, last summer he proved that Disney and its subsidiaries used ‘shell game' accounting and ‘sweetheart' deals to cheat Celador (the case is on appeal)."
Mr. Silberfeld serves on the firm's Executive Board. His trial and appellate experience in complex civil litigation including business and high technology matters, product liability, professional negligence and mass tort litigation, with particular emphasis upon multi-state, multi-party, and class action litigation. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation.
