NRTA 2023 National Conference

Partners Manleen Singh and Daniel Allender presented at the National Real Estate Tenants Association 2023 National Conference on September 17-20, 2023, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

On Monday, September 18, Daniel Allender presented on “Updates in Real Estate Law.” He identified key takeaways and trends emerging from the most notable cases over the last year, with an emphasis on best practices and tips for negotiations, administration, and conflict resolution. He also spoke on a session titled, “Operating Costs and the Law.” This session covered developments in the law governing how landlords charge tenants for lease expenses and how to identify areas where tenants are commonly overcharged.

On Tuesday, September 19, Manleen Singh presented on “Office, Warehouse & Industrial Leasing.” This intermediate course covered how leasing issues and concerns vary in office, warehouse, and industrial leasing. Speakers addressed environmental concerns, operating expenses, and repair/maintenance obligations.
